When the team came to me with this project I was very excited. The design brief was simple, they wanted something along the lines of a fantasy or fairytale world, and make it animated. I love opportunities where I can draw inspiration from fantasy worlds in movies and video games I have a personal connection with. The idea for the floating islands and castles in this design were inspired by the magical kingdom of Zeal from Chrono Trigger. It's one of my personal favorite designs.
